Brief Introduction
Bachelor of Nanjing University and Master of East China Normal University. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Nanjing University. He is also a director of the Chinese Society of Urban Planning and a counsellor of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government.
He is mainly engaged in the research of regional urban and rural spatial planning, digital city and intelligent planning technology, spatial big data, remote sensing and GIS application development.
He has presided over one national major science and technology project, two national ministry projects, five projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and more than 80 scientific research projects in Shanghai, Jiangsu and Fujian on urban system planning, master planning, control planning and urban design, planning management information system, urban remote sensing and GIS development. He has published more than 200 papers in core academic journals at home and abroad, more than 20 SCI/SSCI retrieved papers and 3 monographs. He has received more than 20 scientific and technological awards, such as the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress of the Ministry of Education, the Second Prize of National Excellent Urban Planning, the Second Prize of Outstanding Achievements in Chinese Population Science, the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress of Geographic Information, and the Second Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress.
