  • Brief Introduction

    Dr. Haiwei YIN, is a professor at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Nanjing University, China; and a visiting scholar at the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning, University of California at Berkeley, CA (09/2016-08/2017). He got his PhD from Nanjing University in 2006 in the field of Human Geography (Urban and Regional Planning). He currently serves as the committee members of the Society for Urban Ecology -China Chapter (SURE_China), the Regional Ecology Committee of the Chinese Society of Ecology, and deputy director of Human Geography Committee of Geographical Society of Jiangsu Province.

    His recent work focuses on the urban and rural ecological planning, spatial analysis methods of urban and regional planning.

    He has led and completed many projects including 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, and over 30 urban and regional planning projects. He has published 5 books and more than 100 papers.
