He mainly engaged in research on urban and regional spatial governance research. In recent years, he has focused on Transportation hub new town spatial governance and historical and cultural old city spatial governance. He presided over three projects of the National Social Science Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation and published more than 100 papers in Chinese and English. More than 40 urban-rural planning and research projects have been completed, and more than 10 excellent survey and design awards have been awarded by the Ministry of housing and urban-rural development and Jiangsu Provincial Department of housing and urban-rural development and Department of natural resources. It won the one-second prize in national teaching achievement, guided students to win one first prize of the national final in the "Challenge Cup", and more than 40 awards in the national social investigation competition of National urban and rural planning professional education steering committee. It won the title of "excellent instructor" in the National University Students' extracurricular academic and scientific works competition.
