Brief Introduction
Bachelor and Master of Urban Regional Planning of Nanjing University, and Master and Ph.D. in Urban Regional Planning of Tsukuba University, Japan. He is currently the director of the Centre for Urban Safety Development Research at Nanjing University. He is also a member of the National 13th Five-Year Plan Expert Committee, the National Higher Education of Urban and Rural Planning Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Urban Planning Advisory Expert Committee of Shanghai, Shenzhen and Nanjing. He is also a member of China National Committee for Future Earth (CNC-FE), Secretary General of Society for Risk Analysis in Asia (SRA-Asia), Director of China Disaster Prevention Association and Director of Planning and Standards Committee, Director of China Society of Urban Economics and Deputy Director of Discipline Construction Committee, Deputy Director of Academic Committee of Urban Safety and Disaster Prevention Planning of China Society of Urban Planning, Vice President of Jiangsu Urban Development Research Institute. He has held various positions. He has worked in Nanjing Municipal People's Government Research Office (Economic Research Center), Japan (National Institute of Disaster Prevention Science and Technology) and Japan Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Research Institute of Land and Technology Policy.
He is mainly engaged in research in the fields of territorial spatial planning and urban public safety planning.
