简介 Brief Introduction
1982年毕业于南京工学院建筑系并留校。随后涉入建筑设计教学和建筑历史与理论领域的研究，曾先后两次在瑞士联邦苏黎世高等工业大学建筑系深造，也曾多次在美国及欧洲其他国家学术交流。现任南京大学开元体育app 教授，博士生导师。
主要研究方向是对西方与中国及非西方建筑文化的比较，已发表大量学术论文并出版专著“立面的误会”，产生相当的学术影响。
在建筑与城市设计的研究与实践方面也有卓越的成果，建成一些重要的建筑作品。曾获2005年联合国教科文组织亚太地区文化遗产保护卓越奖（一等奖），建设部优秀工程勘察设计二等奖，教育部优秀勘察设计二等奖、三等奖，多次获得江苏省土木建筑学会建筑创作奖。
In 1982, he graduated from the Department of Architecture of Nanjing Engineering College and stayed there. He has been involved in teaching architectural design and research in the field of architectural history and theory, and has studied twice at the Department of Architecture of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, and has had many academic exchanges in the United States and other European countries. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Nanjing University.
His main research interests are the comparison between Western and Chinese and non-Western architectural cultures. He has published a large number of academic papers and a monograph "Misunderstanding of Facade", which has made a considerable academic impact.
He has also made outstanding achievements in the research and practice of architecture and urban design, and has produced some important architectural works. He has won the 2005 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Conservation Excellence Award (First Prize), the Second Prize of Excellent Engineering Survey and Design of the Ministry of Construction, the Second Prize and Third Prize of Excellent Survey and Design of the Ministry of Education, and the Architectural Creation Award of the Jiangsu Civil Engineering and Architecture Society for many times.
